Outbound’s 2023 Wrapped: Reflecting on a Year of Growth

As we bid farewell to 2023, Outbound is proud to share an exciting roundup of our year, marked by significant partnerships, community expansion, award recognition, and promising future ventures.

3 Power-Packed Partnerships Across 3 States

In a landmark collaboration with Lendlease, Outbound enhanced the tenant work experience at Sydney's Salesforce Tower by introducing three sleek Tesla Model 3s to the impressive new office in Circular quay. This deployment not only added a touch of luxury to the building which houses prominent companies such as Salesforce, JLL, Tourism Australia and Greenhouse, but aligned with the developer's commitment to sustainable living.

Meanwhile, our foray into Victoria saw us launch a groundbreaking commercial partnership with co-working leaders CreativeCubes.Co, introducing the impressive Tesla Model Y to the fleet. Additionally, our partnership with MRCB on the visionary 26 Vista project promises to redefine modern living for residents of 280 apartment and townhouse homes in the Gold Coast, set for completion in 2026.

Driving Community Growth 9000+ New Electric Car Club Members

This year, we welcomed over 9000 new members into our electric car clubs across the country. The buzz of excitement permeated through five dynamic events, including two launch events (with one epic breakfast spread), two super-charged coffee activations, and two exciting long weekend giveaways. These events served as platforms for us to personally connect with our growing community and share our passion for the intersection of urban living, working, and electric vehicles with them.

2 Award Nominations and 3 Eventful Engagements

Outbound's industry impact was acknowledged with two prestigious award nominations. We were honoured to be considered for the 2023 Proptech Awards by Proptech Association Australia in the Environmental Social & Sustainable Category. Additionally, we were thrilled to be named a finalist in the 14th Annual ITS Australia Awards for the Intelligent Mobility category, with the winner set to be announced in 2024.

Throughout the year, we actively participated in three major conferences as sponsors or exhibitors, connecting with leaders in property and urban development at Urbanity 2023, as well as all things emobility, energy and technology at eMobility LIVE 2023 and All Energy 2023.

2024 in Focus

Looking ahead to 2024, Outbound is poised for exponential growth. We're set to make a mark in many more properties across the country, projecting over half a million shared clean kilometres driven from communities within Australian residential and commercial spaces by year-end. Notably, this includes our first build-to-rent properties, an important growing asset class in Australia that will further diversify our portfolio and underscore our commitment to innovation in urban living.

Overall, 2023 has been a remarkable year for Outbound, defined by robust partnerships, community expansion, industry recognition, and a promising roadmap for the future. As we step into 2024, we eagerly anticipate the opportunities and challenges ahead, continuing our transformative journey in real estate and transportation.
